The facility is open during collection events only.

Vouchers

Vouchers are required for the HHW and Paint Products Collection events. Addresses must be verified with utility bill or Drivers License.

Vouchers will be available online and in person at the addresses below, 3 weeks before event date

Vouchers available at the following locations:

Bastrop County Development Services office at 211 Jackson St., Bastrop
Smithville City Hall at 317 Main St., Smithville
Lee County Annex in Room 107 at 898 E Richmond St., Giddings

Items accepted vary by event type. There are no upcoming events at this time.

Commercial waste or any item deemed unsafe or unidentifiable by staff will not be accepted.

HHW Event Information

May 2, 2026

There will be a free giveaway on May 2, 2026 from 9 AM to 11 AM. The event will take place at the HHW Facility, located at 109 Taylor St, Smithville, TX 78957.

While supplies last: free cleaning supplies, gardening supplies, paints, stains, auto products, herbicides, and pesticides!

Please bring your own transport bags. The giveaway items are donated items and are not new items.
